The Esoteric Integral Yoga Course is an intense, on-going course, which focuses on elevating consciousness and living a full, abundant life, walking a yogi path to profound spiritual development.
Contrary to popular belief, Yoga is not just about flexibility and healthy nutrition. Yoga is a spiritual system that originated in India and grew and sprouted into many different paths and schools of thought that all aim at the gradual perfecting of the being for greater well-being, health, happiness, but above all in order to find out who we truly are.
The Integral Esoteric Yoga Course offers a practical, yet systematic and deep approach to the discovery of the mysteries of our inner universe (Microcosm) and of the outer Universe (Macrocosm). The curriculum of this unique course allows us to understand and to discover, through direct experience the profound wisdom of the genuine path of Yoga.
Every yoga class consists of a 90 mins Hatha Yoga practice and an hour (more or less depending on the subject) of theory. Throughout the course we will discover more and more esoteric wisdom on an experiential level. We will dive deep in the subtle anatomy of our being, through the Chakra system and the Pancha Koshas. This course is designed to elevate the being of the practitioner in a gradual, harmonious and consistent way.
In the first year of the course, you will learn about specific laws and principles that are the building blocks of the universe. Every week, you will learn and practice a new Hatha Yoga posture (Asanas) and/or a new technique for mental concentration and meditation. Many other subjects will be touched such has the control of the creative erotic potential (Brahmacharya) and many purification techniques (Kriya Yoga).
The course is designed as an on-going course, similar to an in-depth university study. It runs for many years and the teachings build up on each other with each new lesson. What will be learned in the first year will become a very stable basis to develop further spiritually.
The course is practical in its nature and this makes it easy to apply all the newly acquired knowledge in our daily life. In the end, this is one of the most important aspects which is to learn to live our lives in a state of Yoga (union with all that exists). When there are no disturbances it is easy to be peaceful, but staying peaceful in the midst of life’s intensity, that is the real challenge!
